Pumps & Hydraulics Principles for Operators

CEUs

1.2 CEUs

Description

This two-day course will provide water and wastewater operators an understanding of hydraulics principles to use in their everyday operations. An understanding of pump hydraulics gives the operator an insight as to why a particular pump performs as it does, gives the operator tools for solving pump problems in the field and allows operators to improve their communications with pump repair personnel and design engineers.  Course will review math and calculations for water distribution head equations, velocity and flow.

The CEUs from this course can be used toward the following discipline(s) for certification renewal:

• Water treatment
• Water distribution
• Wastewater treatment
• Wastewater collection
