Description

This two day course will provide a broad knowledge of biosolids management from the sources of wastewater treatment sludges through to the treatment of sludges to create Biosolids and the options for beneficial reuse and/or disposal of these materials.

-Sludge thickening options
-Digestion options including the basic
-principles of each
-Biogas utilization for the anaerobic digestion options
-Post digestion options for biosolids treatment prior to dewatering
-Dewatering options
-The need for treatment of dewatering pressate and centrate
-Composting options for dewatered sludges and/or biosolids
-Sludge and/or Biosolids drying options
-Disposal and beneficial reuse options
