These days, many digital tools are available that are designed to assist in every day, modern life and the water and wastewater industry is no exception. There are large number of these digital tools currently being re-purposed and/or adopted by the industry and these digital tools can enhance the day today functions for a water and wastewater facility operator.

This one-day workshop will focus on following areas with the emphasis on proven digital technologies that can assist the operator personnel on day-to-day operation:
•Mobile Apps that are specifically designed for water and wastewater operators,
•Application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), and
•Digital Twins Technology and its applications to plant operation.

In addition to introducing these tools with specific applications, this workshop will also cover the potential future competencies that are expected from the water wastewater operators to be up to date with the digital world.
