Description

SOLD OUT
Today operators are constantly required to provide an opinion on the best and most efficient methods to replace or rehabilitate aging infrastructure. Whether the question comes from a resident or a Councillor, operators need to be able to provide answers to these most compelling questions.
Insitu technologies are both labour saving and cost effective in the rehabilitation of water distribution pipes. Whether it is burst replacement or it is insitu lining, operators need to understand that there is a difference. Understanding and choosing the technology that best suits your specific situation can allow you to drive the " Infrastructure Deficit" discussion.
Operators also have to consider the "Green House Gas Effect" when considering technologies for water distribution main replacement. Discussions today regarding carbon offsets and carbon taxes have to be considered when choosing the right technology.
This session will deal with the options available in today's marketplace and weigh the costs versus the benefits.
